We offer you a full rental kit with all the equipment needed to turn out your own delicious dry wors, boerewors, biltong or even cooked salamis ! Why spend thousands of Rands on these specialized meat processing items when you can simply hire them for a fraction of the cost.
The only items not included with the kit are meat, fat and casings so that you can ask your butcher for the specific cuts and quality of your choice.
Worsage can assist with all other requirements, including sourcing of pre-packaged spice mixtures from reputable manufacturers, and even our own basic “ how to “ instructional guides and recipes.
Each rental kit includes as standard:
- An electric mincer ( with small and large hole plates )
- A professional sausage filler ( wors-stopper / sausage stuffer )
- A precision kitchen scale ( in digital format )
- Plastic meat hooks
- A butchers grade knife
- A measuring jug, large plastic meat tray and carry box
Optional additions ( charged separately ) include:
- Ready mix spice packs* ( sourced only from reputable manufacturers )
- Casings* ( with prior arrangement )
